“Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, and knowledge makes you great”, said by our great president Dr. Abdul Kalam. The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise.

When likeminded people gather with common benevolent objective of improving the basic system, transformation is bound to take place. Working in different arenas of life, we are a group of people who are highly concerned about the way society is shaping up. Due to the loopholes prevalent in our basic education system, it requires immediate amendments.

Our Suggestions

We want to bring all such concerns to light. Let us raise voice against the poor quality of teachers and our education system. Let the institutes, teachers and the mentors be directly accountable for the performance of the students.

Parents and students should be exposed to more career options and not just the ones traditionally promoted over the centuries like engineering and medicine which is making the private coaching centers and colleges to mint money.

Dignity of labor must be promoted. Let there be some more study and career options should be included to develop the other skills so that even the mediocre and average students should be able to earn their livelihood respectfully.

Teachers’ main aim should be to impart quality education and monitor students’ growth on a regular basis. They must not be forced for extra curriculars which downgrades their image in front of the students. These days, there is a trend of forcing teachers and mentors perform in front of the students which is highly risky and leading to unnecessary consequences. Knowledge should be valued the highest and due respect must be paid to quality teachers.

Life skills must be a part of the education system right at school level.

Our Vision

The function of a university should not be restricted to granting degrees and diplomas but to develop the university spirit and advance learning.

We want to see India once again as the top most nation in catering the world the best of knowledge and skills through its education system which is based on a holistic development theory. Our aim as a nation should be to bring back the glory of world leader in all walks of life.

  • Deep research based ancient texts are to be brought to light and practice for the benefit of the society and nation as a whole. So called modern education system which is already older than 200 years emphasizing on western approach and half-baked educational system should be discarded and skill-based practical training leading to securing successful livelihood must be introduced. Proper deliberation is required in this direction.
  • New Policy should be made to introduce a system which helps in enhancing the mental and intellectual acumen of the individuals along with fitness and overall wellbeing.

Government must take efforts and bring strict policies in the following lines:

  • Hire the best minds with the best payouts. Make education the most prestigious and lucrative field for the highly intellectual individuals with strong character and intuitive abilities. Experience can be gained over a period of time but honesty and integrity can’t be imbibed by the external sources at a later stage. It all needs to be developed from a very young age.
  • Make education affordable at each level, be it primary, secondary, graduation or even higher. Best of the students must be granted scholarships and the priority should be given to the best minds, not to the political biases.
  • Investments should be made for uplifting the education system by expanding the reach of government schools and colleges, providing appropriate work force at various levels, increasing salaries and timely promotion, rewarding the best of faculties and students etc.
  • Different new opportunities and skill-based subjects should be introduced and well publicized so that students and parents are made aware of the available options.
  • Emphasize on character building of the youth which is possible only through the highly principled teachers. Teachers should also be monitored on a regular basis and trained on the latest technology for imparting quality education.
  • New jobs and business opportunities are also to be created to absorb the newer work force passing out from colleges each year instead of just doing fire- fighting when the movement is raised by the unemployed educated youth.
  • Individualistic studies should be introduced instead of crowded classrooms. No private tuitions should be required for general students and hence the education institutes are to be made responsible for imparting the quality education in order to make the students clear the competitive exams after class 10th and 12th.
  • Schools and colleges must make the fitness and mental wellbeing as the compulsory subjects for every student. A healthy nation can only make a wealthy nation.
  • Our basic human values must be taught right from the primary level to the top level in order to invoke the cultural values in them and revive them. Students should be helped in developing the cognitive abilities in order to help them realize their true potential and work towards them.
  • Regular counselling sessions would help in preventing the anxiety attacks, low self-esteem, depression and the negative thoughts leading to suicidal tendencies in students.
  • Pointing out the flaws in system, must not be seen as an anti-system activity, instead it should be taken in the right perspective and seen as a great opportunity to transform the coming generation which would be full of thousands of newer career opportunities.
  • Education must be aimed at transforming lives at the fundamental level. We invite scholars, philosophers, students, teachers, principals, educationists and people from different industry to participate in this movement to help us bring the required changes in the current system, together we can bring the change.
